Per the comments in this thread: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1585556_http___shesahomewrecker_com_page_3_.html I was curious as to which scenario would be worse in your mind.

There are all sorts of different levels of attraction. Especially with regards to female to male attraction. The bigger question is whether it would be worse if your mate left you for a same-sex relationship. That's easy. I'd know it wasn't that he didn't like MY vagina.....he just didn't like any of them. |

I've had other women tell me the same thing. From a males perspective, I think it might be worse. I guy I worked with went through it. Damn near kilt him. |

It's about the wallet/penis size. That would be along the lines of what I think. If my spouse was to cheat on me and leave me for another guy (she'd never do anything with another woman, we've been over that) it had better be a guy who is hung like a horse, richer than Bill Gates and better looking than Fabio in his prime. Otherwise besides being crushed and enraged I'd be humiliated too. |

A lot of the comments on the women in that thread were about their sub-par looks and how bad the wife must be if the husband chose *that* over the wife. I don't think I'd ever really thought about it from that angle before and it made me wonder if that's a fairly common belief when one leaves their spouse for someone else. Anyway, because of that thread but without putting too much thought into it (because it's a painful train to ride ) I came to the conclusion WHO the spouse left for likely plays a big part in how much sympathy others have for the jilted spouse. That thread was enlightening.

I think the whole attractive thing (per the poll) boils down more to a woman's sense than a man's sense, at least in my experience. Women tend to compare themselves on a superficial level (appearance). That's not belittling it in any way, I understand that. Typically it seems though that a man who's woman cheats on him tends to view the other guy as either a superior specimen in the bedroom or a superior specimen in the wallet.
Finding out my ex-wife had a little action on the side on and off for several years sucked either way. It really doesn't matter who your woman cheats on you with. It's really all the same. |
