The Craigmari Weapon System? Designed by Howard F. Broyles in the late 1960s. It was a four-barreled firearm designed to be used in various calibers. Everything from basic infantry weapons to heavy anti-tank weapons. Each barrel would have several caseless projectiles stacked like the charges in a Roman candle. A piezo-electric system and storage batteries were used to supply power. The charges were fired starting at the front of each barrel by electric bursts. The system faced two major problems. It was years ahead of its time (and probably the technology curve). It was also designed by an individual. Not within the military-industrial "complex" of the 1960s..... Quoted: Hell YEA! sounds cool like metalstorm. I tried to look for it on google but found nothing, is the spelling right? That is the spelling that was in International Combat Arms. Had illustrations that looked suspisciously like patent application type drawings. I wonder how we could go about a patent search for a specific item..... Quoted: Quoted: Delphion Patent Search I have to wait for my registration to be approved. I'll check it when i get my password..... Scott http://www.banknotes.com/FR159.JPG I can only search granted patents without being a paid member. It ain't that important to me. Someone who is a paid member, or wants to become one, feel free to search non-granted applications and such..... Scott http://www.banknotes.com/BY28.JPG |
