I am looking at a new projector, a Christie DHD800. Anyone have experience with one? Or prefer other similar models?
I am going to connect it to a computer or two and a Dolby DSS200 for content. To control it, I will need to interface with a touchscreen controller I use to control other hardware via serial and ethernet. That part I am writing myself. |
That's a 23,000 dollar unit.  8000 ANSI lumens.   In years past I've played with units that were as bright (Barco SLM R8 Performer, 3 chip DLP) and the thing was stunningly bright. And yet they make units that are in the 30,000 lumen class these days. What's your application? Business or home theater? |
