Since I have been shot by a careless person before at point blank range, yes.
Nothing like catching a 9mm through both your knees while watching TV. When I'm in stores and people start flagging the crap out of me, I bend and jump out of the way of the muzzle, then give them the stink eye. |

in my case pointed at me with intent by a suicidal person
room details go fuzzy muzzle of the gun becomes clear, hearing went away and time started going real slow it was a 9mm but at that moment it looked like I could fit my fist in that cannon FWIW I went for it. I wasnt scared. I was furious, really really mad. I pushed the gun away and smashed her into a wall. she lost grip of the gun and I threw it back away from us we went down a hallway and to the ground. She got upset I broke her fingernail let me say that again.... she was upset I broke her fingernail 
my only experience I find it weird that I got so angry that she at least had the thought of killing me I am far from a badass but even now years later I find myself worked up and mad again 
ETA: ohh do I need to say it again? she was mad I broker her nail
