| Anyone ever tried one on their mattress? I am afraid we probably need a new mattress but figured I might try something like this first. I sleep on my sides and waking up with my shoulders killing me from sleeping on them. Anyone tried? Worth a shit? |

you will never sleep without one again.
We have a nice California king with the pillow topper on top of it and we put the 3 or 4 inch foam topper on it. It is soft but you dont sink in the bed. I can sleep anywhere anytime but I am picky about my bed when I have a choice. DO IT edit i also find it easier to sleep on my side with a pillow in between my legs and it helps my bad knee not hurt as much |
| Not sure how one would work on an old worn out mattress but I put one on the bed in our camper and it was FANTASTIC. Factory mattress was as hard as a rock and the foam felt like a little slice of Heaven. I sleep on my side also and it made a world of difference. Very well worth the $$$. |

I have a memory foam mattress on one bed. It is fine, more comfortable and no pressure spots like a regular mattress would give me. Probably cost $450.00 or so.
Put a 3 or 4 inch memory foam topper on another bed. It didn't take long until I seemed to sink into one spot on the topper. Not as firm, caused back problems. |

I've got a 4inch topper on mine. The bed... was a "I need a bed right now or I'm sleeping on the floor." purchase. The topper makes it pretty comfortable. I wouldn't recommend it for an old mattress. The topper needs a firm base to work right. If I could do it all over I'd have gotten a memory foam mattress right from the start. I got to sleep on a full on one once and it was way better than sleep number or traditional mattresses. |

Yeah. Wife bought one for her back.
We used it about 3 months before she decided it was worthless We now have a sleep number bed. I don't care. When it's time to go to sleep, lie down and go to sleep. I've grown weary of all her whining about this or that mattress. Thankfully, the sleep number has lasted a while now. |

Whole mattress from sams at a decent price, made in china, but meh. The one I got is great.
