Just got this boy from the rescue.  8 months old, a tad hard headed but that's because there's just so many new smells.
GD, I give you Tank:

Born in April of last year.  His original owners kept him in the back yard chained up and never walked him or did any training.  He ended up in the rescue as a victim of the divorce, together they wanted a dog but separate they couldn't deal with one.  I have been looking for a GSD for a while now and when he popped up on the local rescue's Facebook page, I called dibs and went and got him.  He is a tad lacking in manners but in the two hours that he and I have been together he has already gotten "Sit" and "Come" down pretty good.  Now we are gonna work on a crate... time for whining...

Well, they might have wanted a dog, but they shouldn't have had one.

Good for you OP, Tank will be a happy boy with you, and he is a beauty.

GSD puppies, yeah!

Don't even try to judge one until they're at least 3 years old. Their brains tend to come in on backorders...

(your GSD puppy is here...his brain will be delivered in a year or three...)
