When surfing the net I frequently get a pop up that refers to a run time error, asking if I want to de bug. I have to click yes or no. This has become a real pain in the ass. Any help how to make this crap stop? (Besides hurling my laptop out the hotel window) Thanks

Easy.

Go to the Tools/Internet Options menu.

Click the Advanced tab.

There are 2 checkboxes near the top of the list.  One is "Disable script debugging"  That one should be checked.  Then ther is "Display a notification about every script error"  That one should be UNchecked.

If this is happening only while you are surfing the net I'd think it has something to do with Micro$oft's refusal to add Java support to XP. Check here for download http://java.sun.com/getjava/download.html

But I've been wrong before...

Post this in "Urban Commandos".
My gut feeling is You have bugs. There are a few spyware programs out there that interfere with browswer ops in XP.
You need adaware. Run the Adaware then look through your active processes. If it indicates that active processes are "spyware" delete them. You may have to kill the processes first before adaware or manual deletion will work.
