Meat came from a doe I took in December with my bow. I apologize for the lack of a dinner table, my house is tiny.
Meal: 2 lbs of venison backstrap, cubed and seasoned with salt and pepper, wrapped in bacon, cooked in cast iron skillet Chopped portobello mushrooms, sauteed in butter and soy sauce Baked potato with sour cream, cheddar cheese, and bacon Dinner roll Killian's Irish Red Hardware: Quentin Defense billet lower receiver - The start of my next build RIA 2011 Tactical 1911, Surefire X300, extra mags Buck knife, which was used to field dress the deer which tonight's meal came from

There are two loaded mags on the table. He's got the reloads.  I was going to give him a 9 since that AR isn't done yet but that food looks so damn delicious that I awarded him extra points for killing the deer himself.

Silly tactical shotguns or tricked out bolt guns don't cut it. That awesome German Luger your gramps smuggled back over after the war is sweet as hell but it still doesn't count. You could have crawled on your hands and knees to stalk a Tiger through the jungle only to kill it with a rear naked choke hold and you ain't getting a 10 without an AR! OP, you're building an AR and have the receiver. Pretty damn close. Nicely done. 9.9 |
