The cartridge filter is leaking at the top near the O rings. We replaced the rings and lubed them, and its not creating enough pressure to suck water in.
What could be the problem? |

Could the canister top be uneven as you tighten it? That would cause the problem. To check this, put a layer of some kind of sealant, something that's easily removed, around the rim of the filter cover. |

To check impeller remove pump lid and hair strainer basket and try to spin impeller
another way to check if impeller is broken is to turn on pump then turn off if motor takes time to stop rotation or makes grinding noise If you replace impeller always replace seal and tank gasket for your pump seal part # is SPX-1600Z-2 tank gasket isSP3000T you tube is your friend
