I really like his music, but the last thing I remember hearing about Chuck Berry was that he was caught having cameras in the women's bathroom of a restaurant he owned:

a very astute businessman as well. the venue has to supply the band and gear. he shows up 5 minutes early with a guitar. that movie about him was eye opening. $11K a show and if the band is good he'll give 1k back to the promoter. With that said, I wasn't too thrilled with all of his support concerts for Obongo's re-election last year. |
