The Mongols with 150k solders killed 2 Million people in under two weeks in the siege of Baghdad according to some source.

Why wouldn't the zombie apocalypse be over in a few months?

90,000- 1 million. Most estimates are in the "few hundred thousand" range.

What if the zombie virus starts in.... mongolia? *shudders behind ammo fort*

So are the Mongols the zombies or the Baghdad residents the zombies in your extremely vague analogy?

Remember that doing some of the things in the Zombie Survival Guide will only actually do the opposite of what the title says.

Survival for the zombies. Not survival for the survivors.
Think of the Hitchcockism, "How to feed man".

Everybody knows that no military can survive against any unnatural force like zombies or alien, they would all die.

With the high ratio of zombies to normals, I would assume that the answer would be obvious...

Except the one love private who just joined up to pay for college, and his plucky black friend who tends to wonder off alone.

Because we're a bunch of slack jawed faggots who would worry about whether or not the zombies had feelings.

It's not about feelings, but more of if every living person killed 10 zombies, or more. How long would there really be a zombie problem?

To entertain that analogy, zombies won't go down without a bite. They won't be frightened away and killed while they are running like some Baghdad victims. They will probably be running at you infecting who they can and multiplying.

That's only one kill per Mongol soldier per day.

Sounds like a pretty easy killing schedule.

I'll bet they'd really kill three to five in one day and then take a couple days off.

In the context of zombies as well. They don't suffer from attrition. They don't die from diseases, exposure, starvation or ever tire.  Also they have the advantage of recruiting new zombies with every kill they make.  Things would be more in the favor of the defenders of Baghdad if they had that ability.

My point... It seams like in Walking Dead they have each killed about 50...

In the reality I think most people were killed in the last few days.

Because most people can't feed themselves without electricity and food down the street. Heck alot of people would go insane if they couldn't charge their Iphones. Sure humanity would probably survive and most of the deaths probably wouldn't even be zombie related but from famine, disease, and lawlessness that would result during the outbreak. Then it would be a long arduous climb back up from barter town to civilization.

The real question you should be asking is do all the survivors really get soccer Mom Herroms ?

Why do you think there has never been a major zombie outbreak? Perhaps the answer is that you are correct in your tactical assessment. Whenever there is a zombie outbreak it is dealt with rather quickly, usually with only a small handful of people affected. In fact, in about 87% of cases, the original victim never actually infects anyone else.

We know a lot about the zombie virus but we don’t know where it originates. And as long as it’s only one poor soul who contracts the disease and then perhaps manages to spread it to a few others, zombies will never be more than an isolated threat. You literally have a better chance to win the lottery than you do to be bitten by a zombie.

Because we don’t know where the virus originates, it is possible that a large number of people could spontaneously become infected. And that is what we prepare for. Granted, one person could dispatch an incredible number of zombies given plentiful ammunition, a secure rooftop, and a good scoped rifle. But it will take time and things will be pretty chaotic for several weeks after a major outbreak.

Maggots, crows, buzzards, coyotes, mountain lions, predators, etc etc would take care of them in 30 days or less.   Lock your doors and stay inside for 30 days and all will be good.

because zombies dont kill you, they turn you
so the numbers dont jst go down on both sides as the battle rages. the numbers go down on one side, and up on the other.
