I may be somewhat of a city slicker but I know chili doesn't have beans.

It's beef from a from a freind, fantastic!  We help them hay and give them chickens we raise in trade for beef.

You need some garlic.

Don't feel like doing the beans/no beans thing tonight. Too lazy or too drunk, still working on that one.

Coming from the Chili Capital of the USA, we take our Chili very seriously. 'Red or Green"? is an everyday question.  Food here is spicy hot. It is addictive. I love it.
When I make my Chili I use Kidney Beans and beef/pork combo. Red Chili's are used. Nothing special, but is sure is good with a bag of Frito's Scoops and a cold beer.
My wife will sometimes add V8 or Snappy Tom to the mix. It does add an interesting after taste to the palate. Give it a try it taste better than it sounds.

I see beans, so it's got to at least resemble chili...

Where's the chilis and the chili powder?

Chili has more than just jalapenos in it....and no beans.

Replace the two cans of beans with bottles of beer......and you'd have a better end product.

The chili beans have the chili powder. I almost put some white beans in there too!

One can trade chicken for beef?!

Makes me wonder what I could trade those beans for since you obviously won't be mixing them with the beef and chili peppers....  Maybe some sort of magic cow that produces bacon instead of milk...
