| So sorry for all the questions that cause me to be accused of trolling but I am just seeking info so bear with me please. So I have an extra bolt now..it is ok to just check headspace andswap in the new bolt when the time comes without having to change the barrel too right. I can just keep the same old barrel and use the new bolt. My goal is to use this barrel for a minimum of 50,000 rounds. |

| Your smoking crack if you think a barrel will last 50 thousand rounds. Lets do the math, 50K @ $.50 a round, if your lucky for quality ammo. That's $25 grand for ammo. You can buy a new quality barrel for $150 . Add $50 bucks for a new bolt to go with your new barrel. |

How much ammo do you currently have? $25K on ammo, I wouldn't sweat a new DD barrel every 15K rounds. |

15,000 rounds..my bolt should last that long i think. it is bcm. If you have a BCM barrel as well, and be a bit nicer than the Filthy 14 shooters are, I would throw a new BCM bolt at it without hesitation. If you have a field gauge, then use it. Why not? |
