In all honesty, you probably watched them in the wrong order.  The Pacific, in my opinion, is not as good as the other two, and should be watched first.  That way, your expectations are somewhat lower, and you should be able to better enjoy the series.  Band of Brothers, and Generation Kill in some respects, are so much better that watching them first will only lead to a disappointing experience watching  The Pacific.

Ideally, the viewing order should be The Pacific, Generation Kill, and then Band of Brothers....topped off with a touch of Saving Private Ryan.

Read Eugene sledge's book " With the old breed" before you watch it.

I thought "The Pacific" was better then BoB or GK.

I can kind of see where someone might consider The Pacific better than Generation Kill, simply because its a more "serious" movie...but I don't think I have ever heard anyone mention they thought it was better than Band of Brothers!!

I wouldn't consider it to be better than either of them, just different.  The Pacific is much more about the horrors of war than the other two though.

BoB was more an idealistic view of war written decades later, The Pacific was probably a bit more accurate to what happen at the time  and Generation Kill was like going to war with a bunch of junior Marines.
