Apologizes if this has come up before, I didn't see a topic on it when I did a search. Has there ever been development of a rimfire .223 cartridge? Just about all AWBs I can think of specifically talk about centerfire rifles, why hasn't there been any development on the rimfire end? I'm sure there's something I'm missing on this as it seems too self-evident to not have come up before. So educate me GD.

Even if all of the technical/cost hurdles were to be overcome, the anti's would just amend the AWB to remove the "rimfire" exemption. POOF! .22 LR firearms now banned just like their center-fire counterparts. |
