Anyone ever try one or own one?
Expensive? Ease of use? Been thinking about one and have looked them up on the net, but would like to hear from those who actually have tried them or currently use one. I need to exercise more but an arthritic knee doesn't help and I love to swim anyway. |

ive tried one. its awesome. i swim a mile a day in open water, and i hate chlorine and turning around. the water was able to keep up with me at a 25 minute mile pace. there are no open water swimming opportunities in alaska in the winter, and i dont have a good spot to put one in my house, so i approached a gym to partner up and let me buy one and let people use it at his place for a fee, but he didnt think it would have been a good idea.
turning around sucks. im going to keep trying to find out a way to get one and make money off it. |
| I've used one last year for therapy as well (torn achilles) and it was great to swim and use the underwater treadmill. Allowed me to work pretty hard and accelerate my rehab. I have a friend who is looking to purchase one for his home and visited a demo that Endless Pools setup for him. That might be a good place for you to start! |
