I find a money clip useful,  but the steel one I received as a gift is about sprung.  I've heard a good titanium one will hold it's shape well and hold either a few bills or a decent stack.   Anyone have experience w/ them?  Opinions on a good/inexpensive one?

Oh nevermind, I see what you're asking.  Sorry

Never tried the Ti ones.

I think what he's saying is that his current steel one has become loose/weakened over time due to load.. and he's asking if the Titanium ones are any better for maintaining their shape.  I could be wrong.

I thought at first he was asking what people thought about money clips.. so I had written that I stopped using them because they wore out the insides of my pants pockets.

That's about what I figured, I guess I was trying too hard to figure out what his first sentence should have been.

Yep.  Auto correct bit me on that one.   I knew what I typed, but it didn't stay that way.

I use a Titanium clip that I bought from County Comm a few years ago.  It has held its "spring" despite hard use.

No worries.

I used to have one that was sort of like a chip clip (same mechanism anyhow), never gave me issues and it could hold a pretty fat stack of bills.  I forgot who makes it though..

The only clip I want to own holds 8 rounds of .30-06.

I use a leather one that has magnets in it.  Works good and doesn't wear out.

Found it in a rental car in Oman.

I've used money clips for years but the very best one I got about 5 years ago at superiortitanium.com. It was just a very basic model and has withstood years of heavy use with large capacity and excellent spring retention. Amazing use of 20$.

I looked at those.  Didn't buy one then, and haven't seen one there recently.

The steel ones suck, especially if you overload it with $50 in one dollar bills.

I don't do that, but I carry my Dillon's card, one credit card, and anywhere from 1 to maybe a dozen bills in it.  It keeps me from having to get out my wallet most of the time.

I like using the clip on a little crkt peck. I don't overload it, but it seems to work pretty good for small amounts.

I have a plain $35 Ti clip from C.com.
Works great, can stuff a couple of grand into it.
Light and will not bend or break.

This is what you seek.

I have had the Commander model for 3 or 4 years and its the same as the day I bought it.

I use a velcro wallet, currently.  Although I will settle for any wallet.

I would never use a money clip outdoors.  My money clip holds other credit cards and membership cards in my safe.

Yes Ti the real deal. I have a viper clip from these guys. I've had mine about 2 years and still has spring just like the day I bought it. Finish is very resistant. No noticeable scratches or anything.

I bought a SLIMclip years ago and it works really well. I have read that the newer ones are made much cheaper than the old ones and are not as good.

Mine works perfectly.

I try to never spend dollar bills unless I have to.
