Hi guys,
Anyone ever seen them before? I won a couple tickets through work for a November show. From what I've gathered on the net, it looks to be Christmas music with some wicked guitar riffs added. Cool?? Anyway, the wife and I will be going. Should be fun I think. |

That'd be a mind-fuck while stoned.

Yes, go. The show is incredible. You will see remarkable visuals and hear symphonic musicians who found out that rock and roll bands pay better.
The women in the string section are usually pretty hot, too. The band used to hang out after the shows and talk to people from the audience. I'm not sure if they still do that, or if it was a Florida thing because many of them live there. |

Depends on your definition of "hang out". In MI, they would come out and sit at tables to sign autographs. You could chat with them for a minute when you got an autograph. |

They'd shoot the shit with audience members. It wasn't an autograph line. |
| The audience is pretty well behaved. You could bring young children to that show. It's a very positive atmosphere. They also go out into the floor aisles and play. They had a scissor lift on the floor when I saw them. The violin player got up on it and did her thing a few feet above the people on the back floor. |
| Meh, we went to a Christmas concert of theirs a couple years ago. The handful of recognizable Christmas songs they played were great; unfortunately, those songs were surrounded by 2 hours of crap. Would not go again. Mind you, we went for Christmas concert and we expecting such. YMMV if you're just looking for a regular concert. |

this show KICKS ASS.
took the wife to it a couple years ago, honestly one of the best rock concerts I've ever been to. oh and I feel in love with their violinist. Holy smoking hot chick. Ok it was a brief crush but still
I felt like I was at some Christmas version of Bon Jovi or something. They are amazing! Going again this year.... |
|
Have seen them a number of times. They used to kick off their tour every year in Youngstown, Ohio - because a number of their musicians went to the Dana school of music right here at Youngstown State University.
They've since moved where they kick it off, as the venues in Youngstown are simply not big enough. However, I would travel to go see them. Without a doubt. |

My wife and I almost walked out after about an hour. Felt like I was in church. The second half of the show was good though. If they are still doing "The Lost Christmas Eve" show, skip the first hour. |
| Good show, seen them twice and the band will sign autographs at the end of the show. The ham up the big hair 80's rock and don't take themselves too seriously. Occaisonally will pause the show and talk about thier history (actually two bands, east and west coast versions) and who is coming and going in the groups. |

We went a couple of years ago, 5th row. Even if you don't like Christmas music or music in general, it's pretty cool.
Fire, lasers, fake snow, fog machines, hot young girls playing electric violins, lots to see. Awesome guitar work, awesome piano work. The couple who sat in front us were in their 50's, the guy wore a tux, the woman had on an evening dress with a fur coat, but the crowd was a mix of folks of all ages. |

It's a kick ass show. We try to go every year they come to town. I wish there was more classical styled music modernized in this fashion. There is an entire genre called Symphonic Metal. If you want to hear non-christmassy Symph Metal, check out TSO's normal band Savatage |

IT'S CHRISTMAS MOTHERFUCKERS, AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT. |
