I'll probably be making a habit of this:

My "scooter:"

To my frustration I had a hard time shooting the model 22 well in single action. I was shootin both it and the J frame exceptionally well in double. Didn't make much sense, but oh well.

A couple magazines for the CZ gave me issues. One kept dropping out, and the other popped its floor plate while inserting the loaded mag into the pistol and spilled its guts. I had some old Winchester Rangers that the gun didn't particularly like. One nose dived on the ramp hard enough to jam the pistol and set the bullet back in the case. Only one magazine activated the slide stop. These are loaded most of the time so it looks like it's about time to get some Wolff springs in 'em.

I had some free (and old) 38 Spl ammo to burn.

Nothing surprising there, though the Western X stuff was a little smokey. When was the last time a box of fifty was $4.85?

I had fifty rounds of slugs, and it was nice to get those off my back (literally).

That middle box of ammo is worth $1000.

That'd be just my luck. That one was full of empties, anyway.

You shouldn't have shot that ammo.  It is collectible.

It was free, and priceless as used.

I'll keep the boxes.

Ammo get shot 'round here.
