While the regular season can be long and tedious at times, playoff baseball is another animal.  Watch the 2011 World Series Cards vs Rangers, and try and tell me that it's boring.

Still not over game 6 2011 huh?

You may have lost but at least you were part of the greatest game in WS history. My oldest daughter and I were 4 rows off the right field line. Was amazing.

If St Louis wants to win it, they better run up the score in the 1st thru 6th innings. The Red Sox are lethal in the last 1/3 of the game.

The fact that you have to go back two years to cite an exciting playoff series is pretty telling.

Like I said: I think it's pretty boring for the most part, but hey, to each his own.

I'm just giving an example.  These playoffs have produced some pretty exciting games as well, but I understand baseball isn't for everyone.

After the Cardinals beat the Pirates, CarbineKid told me "I hate the Cardinals"

CarbineMom tried to tell him not to hate -- I reminded them both that I have been hating the Dodgers since birth and the Steelers since December 23, 1972 about 1:00 in the afternoon.

She relented.

Wicked re-tahded.

Still, if ST Louis has a tough lefty going in a home game , I could almost see saving him for a pinch hitting role late in the game. Obviously, his defense isn't spectacular.
