How would one go about converting a picture saved in a WORD .doc into a .jpeg?

Type slowly so I can try to keep up.

Right click on the image while it is open in the Word document.
You should see an option to "Save As Picture".
My default saves it as a jpeg.

Well, the problem is that it is 2 side-by-side pics that I'm trying to save as one file.  So right-clicking just tries to save the one picture I'm over which is doing me no good because the other is just sitting there by itself like it always was.

Right click on both to save them separately then combine them into a single image in Paint.

You could screen shot the word doc, then crop the images in paint.

Even better, you could save both images then open both in the same paint window and save as one image.

Do you have Powerpoint?

1. Copy each picture individually.
2. Paste each picture into the same powerpoint slide.
3. Size and orient them to your liking.
4. Hold Ctrl and click both of the pictures.
5. Right click on either picture.
6. Click on the "Group Option". This should create one image containing both pictures.
7. Right click and save the picture as a normal Jpeg file.

Thanks everyone.  Screenshot worked.

Sadly, I've done screenshots before and that didn't occur to me.

That's a cool program.
I didn't even know it existed.
Way easier than my way of doing it.

It really is easier than all the other options. Open the document, locate the pictures, open Snipping Tool, drag a box around pictures, pat your awesome self on the back!

I'll have to look into that.

Curious as to what your original post was.  I missed it and figure it wasn't nice but probably funny.

I like you.    Thank you.

Finished product below.  My mom got a doll from somewhere that looks like my middle child.

It was a true arfcom smartass GD answer to your problem.  But I realized based on your specific wording, after re-reading the OP, that it didn't apply.

There is a decent similarity,  however, dolls are all creepy and should be burned.

Give me a sec and I'll show the pic my mom sent right after that one of a doll her friend got when I was young because it reminded her of me.
