Although there may be a certain percentage of people that disapprove of the Republican party, how much of that is actually from people who think the Republicans aren't conservative* enough?

*(whatever conservative means)

You know what's scary? Take a look at Zero's 50% disapproval ratings and ponder the percentage of those that disapprove of Zero's performance because he hasn't sent us all to gulags, yet.

The intent of such surveys was to attempt to show dissatisfaction with repubs, in order to pressure them into caving-in, and nothing else.

Thus, the exact cause(s) of such dissatisfaction were of secondary importance.

As you imply, there were probably a good many true conservative who were dissatisfied with the repubs, and for reasons entirely different than the reasons liberals were dissatisfied with them.  In the survey, both sides of the dissatisfied crowd were lumped together, and that was done on purpose.

I am so disappointed in the republican party. Once again, instead of sticking to its guns, it gives in. Now O will push for immigration reform and there wont be a republican voted in again for... well.. maybe ever. This is beginning of the end. Good job for voting in complete douche bags who don't represent what the people want. I just don't see any hope anymore... sigh

It's like those 'do you approve of Congress' polls.

Republicans disapprove because Dems hold the Senate
Dems disapprove because Republicans hold the House

Apolitical people disapprove because the media keeps telling them how disfunctional Congress is.
Fringe elements disapprove of their own party on top of disapproving of the opposite party

Who the hell approves of Congress?  Are they saying so just to troll, or just trying to give any answer to shut up the pollsters?

Surely, the GOP will surely defend the 2nd Amendment the next time it faces attack.
