Just has one attacking my foot, unsure what kind it was after gently shaking it off I couldn't find it. It looked light tan or brown

as long as they are smaller than your foot, then the answer is generally no.

Mine would have zero issue biting though a sock....

A brown recluse got me through a heavy pair of socks.
