My BP9cc has one of those as well, just not as long or as pretty. Only God knows why
they couldn't have integrated a loaded chamber indicator with the extractor.

Shit, the top of my beretta 92fs extractor is painted red as a round indicator, and my xdm had it too.

My XDM has one too. Its handy to touch the top of the slide and be able to tell if it is chambered or not while it is holstered.

I have a loaded chamber indicator on my M&P Shield.  It's a hole near the end of the chamber which lets me see if it's loaded.  None of this shoulder thing going up nonsense.

My LC9 had one of those too... until it got into an altercation with a file.
Then it was... flat = loaded, depressed = not.

Then I replaced the part with a factory piece and gave it to my dad and bought a Kahr.

When I bought my Kahr K9 off of Guns America, I wondered why the ad said "no sales to Commiefornia". Now I know why.....

If you want to try to shoulder fire a pistol, give a try. You might be the first to do so.
