Looks like a rainy weekend, so instead of working on an outside project I'll be building an AR.

I have a spare 20" PSA upper, flaptop, with A2-style detachable sights.

I also have a NM 2-stage trigger LPK and an a ACT LPK.

On the lower front, I have a virgin PSA lower, an Aero Precision lower built with entry level milspec parts and an M4-style stock that I could strip out, and  A1 and A2 stock kits.

I'm thinking of putting the NM LPK into the PSA lower, installing an A2 stock, slapping the PSA upper on it, and having an entry level High Power rifle.  I'll just need to free float the barrel and upgrade the sights at some point.

Any reason not to FO?  I know PSA isn't Tier One for Service Rifle but I'm itching to get a rifle built and get to some matches!

Do it, if that is what is keeping you from doing it.

Get a NM free float tube before proceeding.  What is the twist on the barrel?

I'm forging ahead with the lower for now -- the upper can be upgraded separately.  Once I get it together I'll have to figure out how to get pics into the CMP/HP forum!
