I haven't had a great day so I decided to make something good for dinner.

I put my dillo dust to work on a rack of ribs, dag in the background:

And now they're resting for a couple hours:

I'll update with dinner pic when they're done.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Finished!

My last dinner pic had bad food and too much stuff.  I kept this one simple.

Main course is baby back ribs, seasoned with dillo dust and sticky fingers BBQ sauce.
Side dishes are french fries, sweet corn and texas toast with cheese.
Rifle is Bushmaster AR15 with ACOG, 20" fluted barrel and YHM free float rail.
Pistol is Smith & Wesson 1911.
Knife is a Ka Bar, non serrated with leather sheath.
Drink is Woodchuck private reserve pink and sweet tea.
Measuring device for tradition.

You didn't boil them first?

So, the ribs are just resting in the oven, to keep the dag out of them right?

The alternative is too horrible to contemplate.

They're cooking before they go on the grill. Is that okay with you?

Dude.

Just....damn.

You fail on so many fucking levels.

Stab yourself in the eye with those tongs.  You fucking owe us that.

Thank you.  Seeing those ribs like that just fucked up my whole weekend.

But seriously...you suck and your food is bad.

Believe it or not there is more than one way to make ribs. I've never cooked them myself before so I decided to use this method. You'll are pretty harsh, especially considering they aren't even done.

At least I didn't boil them.

On grill or smoker over indirect heat using lump/charcoal and hickory or fruit wood....preferably hickory.

There is no other way.  This is not negotiable.

I cook them like this all the time. Sometimes I want ribs and don't want to spend all day tending the smoker/grill. Works well. Lots of restaurants do it this way too.

You did remember to put liquid smoke on them, right?

The only approved method for cooking ribs on arfcom is via smoker.  Let this be a lesson.

Do you have fire and smoke in your oven?

Hrmmm?

I don't think you do.

I hope your ribs turn out edible...I hate to see a man eating some shitty ribs, but it isn't looking good.

If you do this the other way around you will have some pretty good ribs.

Grill and smoke, low and slow first.  Foil them and finish in a low oven.

I'm giving you an 8/10.

-1 for cooking in oven before grilling ( cooking on smoker first and finishing in oven would have been acceptable)

-1 for the purple beer stuff or whatever it is you are drinking.

A woodchuck pink cider, not beer (not sure what to highlight the cider or pink part)

plus a mustard based walmart sauce. Bad food/drink pairing.
