I wouldn't call it safe. Maybe in less peril. The Republicans have their share of blood on their hands when it comes to the 2nd.

We are not safe yet. Start writing those letters telling them why we put them there. Tell them if we don't get what we want, we'll put somebody new there next time.

I'm not gonna call it "safe", just a good bit more secure. But everyone needs to realize that this isn't the end of the battle. Now it is time for us to inundate our Reps and Senators with letters, e-mails, and phone calls to let them know EXACTLY what we want. Revel in the victory for now, but be wary of those who claim to be your friend but do not act accordingly. We have the opportunity now. Let's sieze it.
