I'm not sure where to post this so I'll try here. I am trying to help my in-laws "harden" their house and one thing I would like to do is to mount a camera at the front door so they can see who is there. The problem is they could be in either the kitchen or their bedroom. Because of this I would like to get a single camera with at least two monitors. The one's I've seen so far have many more features than I want/need (intercom, remote door locks, etc.). Are there any bare bone systems that have an all weather camera that can sync up with at least two monitors? |

Most cameras output video via a BNC connector.
My recommendation is to purchase a BNC to RCA connector (about $2.00 at Radio Shack) and then split the RCA video signal by using a RCA "Y" (Use the yellow for video..but white or red would work as well). "Y" connector is about $3.00 from Home Depot or Radio Shack. Easy to do. |
