Hello guys, I figured I'd throw this out to the experts here at AR15.com

I run a service department for a HVAC company and would like to transition to a new service software program.  Right now I have a crew of 5 techs out in the field.  Does anybody have opinions on software that they are using to run their service departments.  My main goals are dispatch, gps location/tracking, and invoicing.

Thanks in advance,
Evan

Just to make sure the specs are down right.  You want:
- Service Call Management
- - Take/Schedule Customer Calls
- - Customer Call Tracking
- Service Tech Management
- - Schedule Techs
- - Monitor Tech Location (GPS)
- Customer Billing
- - Invoicing

What do you use now to run your office currently?

My brother has a consulting business specifically setting up and maintaining business accounting systems - inventory, orders, point of sale., payables, receivables, etc.  For years he shilled for Sage Business Vision.  Now he like the free, open source xTuple.  Apparently they charge for a few modules that are really only used in manufacturing, but everything else is free.
