Has anyone ever wanted to PAWN anything or has it all been "I want to sell."

I vaguely remember a few times where people wanted to pawn...but most of the time I think it was small stuff.

Doesn't really matter either way, scripted show is scripted...

eta: You do realize that a lot of the stuff on the show is never really "bought" by the shop, its just on there for the TV value.

A few people wanted to pawn. They still got lowballed.

One cat wanted to pawn a bike to make payroll if I recall correctly.

In the earlier seasons people would pawn stuff but it was still rare. Which kills the whole reality part of this show not that I care. Because pawn shops make more money pawning stuff than reselling.

If you wanna see people pawn stuff watch Hardcore Pawn. Even faker than PS but hilarious..in the "completely lose faith in humanity" kinda way.

Just saw an episode the other day where a guy wanted to pawn something that was worth $25,000. I don't remember what it was, but Rick strongly advised him against taking out a loan that size and the guy did it anyway.

I know the whole show is fake though.

Its a pretty crappy pawn shop as well. Was just there today. Hardly enough room to walk in the place. Very small
