The extended-scenes version amplifies this vibe, unless you see Leon not as a full-grown adult, but rather not much older than Mathilda emotionally. This is how the character was written, according to interviews I've read in different places. He fled Italy as a teen after getting into some trouble with a girl's family, finding work with The Mob in America.

That movie has the mosyt ecclectic mix of oddball weapons I've ever seen.

However, this guy...

Keith A. Glascoe...

Was a member of the FDNY - he was from Ladder 21 "The Pride Of Hell's Kitchen" - from the stationhouse on 38th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues, Midtown Manhattan.

he was killed on 9/11 while rescuing people off the South Tower.

Need to watch the full unedited version. It clears up the plot holes.

"Colombiana" started out as the sequel to " Leon, The Professional".
Titled "Mathilda", it was slated to pick up the storyline after Leon's death.
Mathilda was to carry out her revenge using the deadly skills she had learned.

Luc Besson tried to get the movie made for 12 years but it never happened.

Leon was basically an overgrown child. An adolescents mind in an adults body.

Still slightly creepy in some scenes.

Well I'm the same age as Natalie Portman and when this came out I fell in love with her and she is still one of the most gorgeous women in the world to me.   Guess the sexuality didn't bother me but I'll have to give it another look.

Supposedly they were supposed to fuck according to the original script. She was supposed to be on top and him cum while crying or some shit. Love the movie, but it is odd.

Actually, he's my lover.

I squirm every time that part is on.

Favorite scene is when Mathilda is coming back with the groceries and Gary Oldman and his dudes are at her apartment, she goes to Leon s door and is crying waiting for him to open it, when he finally does the light washes over her, it's perfectly filmed.
