If I'm traveling down a road with a speed limit of 45MPH. I catch a truck doing 35MPH. So I crawl behind this guy for a while. Then I see a passing zone and I want to pass this dead horse and floor it to sail by. When I pass the truck I'm doing 55MPH as I cut back into my lane. Am I speeding?
I don't know the answer so help me out. I'll do a poll

I'm going to guess, if a cop saw me doing 55 in a 45 he would give me a ticket. Even though that jerk in the truck should park it or drive it!
I do this crap all the time. There is an annoying area I have to drive thru and the old farts or trucks crawl and it's 2 miles straight as an arrow. |

If I'm bothering to stop somebody for 10 over, we've already got other issues anyway. I usually don't even look at a vehicle until 12 over, unless other infractions occur as well. |

Pain , which road? Sounds like rte.6 There is a road between Meriden and Chesire I travel going to work, It's 45 mph with a very short passing lane. The road is S Meriden Rd, in Cheshire. The cops run radar on it sometimes. I hate cars or trucks than go 10 + under the speed limit!
