I was thinking about thinning my collection of firearms and buying more expensive/ higher quality ones with the money. I have an RRA middy, Mak 90, slr 106, Remington 1100 tactical, Remington 870 tactical, 10-22, mp22 pistol, Glock 17, mp40, mp15-22, sporterized 1903 sprng, dsa sa58. I was thinking about selling everything except the 870, 15-22, and mp40 and replacing it with a KAC sr-15 e3 or a colt 6920, and buying a nice optic like a t-1 and also getting a mp40c and a GA precision in .308 (crazy exspensive!!!) or a Remington 5r and I would like to get a suppresor maybe.
Anyone else do anything like this before? I really do enjoy all my guns but i would rather have 4-5 really nice quality pieces then 10+ alright ones |
| I've taken that approach to my buying. I'll research for a long time and save until I can get exactly what I want. Then I have that gun to fill whatever needs and I don't buy another for the same needs. I'll pass on something decent that I find a deal on and keep looking for the specific gun I want. |

I have kind of started doing this myself. I have lost of guns I don't shoot and now that I am getting older just don't care to shoot them.
Want to get some higher end stuff so started to look at selling more of my items I know I don't like or wont shoot even if it is a part of a special collection I might have. End the days of hey that's looks cool and go get it. Now looking at hey, how can I use this particular gun and get the accessories to boot. To the job I want it to do. Not just a play toy. |
