Our boy is only two.  My wife wants to have another.  I've had a good 6-7years of education past high school.  I know it was expensive because I'm almost done paying it off.  We want him to have the same opportunity we did although we're both regretting the fields we chose financially because no one guided us...our parents were just happy we got ANY degree since few others in our family had.

However, with how crazy and unpredictable inflation is as well as the current state of affairs in our country....how do you save for your kids' education?  Is there a goal amount you are saving to?  Is it $50-$100 per pay check or something fixed that you just continually add?

It seems like unless you have one hell of an income and systematic savings they are going to be stuck with a massive bill and who knows if they'll even find a job after they get it?

So what's your strategy/thinking/plan?

Thanks
