I have grown to abhor dining out in the last six months or so. It is expensive, the service is usually lacking, and the food almost always leaves something to be desired - Especially if you spend $30+ (You know what you are getting for ten.)....
Anyway with $8, a little skill, the will to eat healthy, a hotel with a two burner stove top and a single pan provided - a fella can eat pretty well. (Butter came in pads from a buffet, garlic is dirt cheap, and salt and pepper are free) Pan seared tuna steak with a lil salt-n-pepper, fresh okra sauteed in butter and garlic, a nectarine, and some unsweetened black tea. Sorry no arsenal, I'm behind enemy lines.

Anything with Okra in it needs to be fumigated, then stepped on repeatedly, followed by promptly heaving into the nearest nuclear waste disposal site. 8/10 given the nice tuna temp, oppressive regime currently staying under, the resourceful weapon cache, and the nectarine presentation. I'd recommend an adult beverage but perhaps that isn't allowed. |
