The cell company gave a choice, based on my needs, of either a LG optimus or a Nokia lumia windows phone (think the writing says S21 but not sure). The windows phone came into the question when I asked about storing data.
Essentially, I want a phone that will enable me to hunt down CL deals in the field.........or serial numbers of guns before I buy them. I am not looking to watch videos on something in my hand and I will be using a line that I don't care who knows that number. So, dare as I might, I mean, it is the weekend crowd, what's the hive's opinion? All warnings are in effect. _________________________________________________________________________________________ ("Or that our boss looks like an international killer! Are you saying they are offering those for free? I'd probably go with the LG Optimus if I had to choose between the two, as I'm not familiar with Windows phones. I'd rather have an iPhone 5, Galaxy S4 or HTC One if I was paying for a new phone and intended to keep it for 2 years. Older Android phones don't get much OS support.

Be careful. Your "needs" = their phones they can't get rid of. Maybe. As an IPhone fanboy I can't speak to the quality of either choice. I would look at ratings online too. As to the latter, doing that now. As to the former, the more advanced phones get, the more they become like computers and as such, from my view, if they are to be parted with, they should not be sold but destroyed. Now, if you are talking about the company not being able to get rid of them, shrug, that's probably okay. If I didn't want to stay in touch with CL, the serial number bit has always been a wish and now fits in with the need, but I didn't want to.................I wouldn't be looking for a supplement to my Razor now. _________________________________________________________________________________ ("Destroy ATAC system!"--Captain, (w,stte), "For Your Eyes Only") |

The Lumia 521 is pretty popular due to the low cost and great OS. One thing to keep in mind regarding budget handsets is that low end Android handsets are generally slow, laggy, and rarely receive updates.
Here's a recent review of the 521: http://www.wpcentral.com/t-mobile-nokia-lumia-521-windows-phone-budget |
