Here's some obvious trolling methods Post a response or topic phrased in a way to appear to support the issue and then when called on it deny that you ever said such a thing or that you ever said you supported that issue. A typical troll uses this method to skirt the COC of the Forum they are on. In some cases they get away with it for a long time as they tech have not broken any rules. Typical: "I never said that" "I never said I support blah blah blah" "Why are you insulting me when I have been civil to you" "why is everyone against me here" These trolls who come here have one main intent, it is to disrupt and secondly to get members banned if they can make them lose their temper. I have come close a few times to losing it over the years. The best rule of thumb when dealing with an obvious troll is DFTT "Don't Feed The Trolls" |
