Just curious if anyone has mentioned this show or started a thread on it. Saw an episode half way through this weekend and it piqued my interest due to all the gun porn. It's going on it's third season, I didn't really know about it till I started seeing all the commercials about it lately.

Season 3 starts up soon, about 5 days after they release season 2 on DVD 
I really hate that practice, if they'd release these DVDs sooner there wouldn't be so much empty "no news" space inbetween, and it would give people a chance to catch up on previous episodes they may have missed. I think TNT is doing a marathon of the first two seasons leading up to the premiere of season three. It's a good show, it picks up after the first 4 or 5 episodes of season one. There are multiple threads on it. |

When we were talking about Season 2 in the thread here last year, somebody noticed the Overlord's big cannon was pointed skyward. They didn't build it to use against Earth, apparently. Also, the new aliens that dropped in at the end of the season finale had a vibe to them exactly like the Marines landing at Guadalcanal.

Watching on amazon prime at the moment. It does have some drama in it, but honestly I like the positive Christian/Catholic pre-med student. Episode 3 or so had an interesting observation, so seeing how that plays out, plus sure there will be story lines based on some stuff really shown at the end of episode 4 (hinted to earlier). Anyway, as of episode 4, I see so many teasers planted that I am hoping I will enjoy the rest of season 1 and look forward to season 2. |

Roaming around the galaxy enslaving planets it bound to make you some enemies. |

It truly is a miracle of modern technology.

It's Walking Dead with aliens instead of zombies. Focused around human drama with some action mixed in. It's decent sci-fi. When there is fighting, it's not the highest budget SFX, but I've seen a lot worse. Agree. I love the show, but unlike walking Dead they actually scavage for supplies and keep guns they come across. Can't wait for the new season.
