Went over to Nick_75's house yesterday and had him take the clippers to my hair. Damn, I haven't had hair this short since in was in basic training.

Too damn hot down here in this part of the world. I have a brutal school/work schedule through the end of July and don't have time to mess with it.

Yup.

Accidentally cut the top too short trying to do a high and tight by myself

I have been shaving my head since I was 8 years old.

I always have one... Wahl clippers, no guard!

No, I spend alot of my time out of doors in direct sunlight, I keep long hair to protect my head neck and face. I have been considering it tho.
5/28/2013 2:12:49 AM EDT

yep! about a month ago. time to go buzz it down again.

We used the 1/4" guard on the back and sides, the 3/8" on the back half of the top and the 'transitional areas', and the 1/2" guard on the front.  Still looks like 1/4" all over.

I should have taken a pic of the pile of hair on the back porch. Massive.

I keep my hair shortish all year. I generally get it cut to a #2 every 3-4 months.

Mine doesn't get longer than 5/8" all year.

I bought a set of clippers last year for the wife to use on me.   I tell her to keep my hair like the conversation...  short.

No, mine's a year-round buzz. 1/8 or 1/4, depending on which guard I happened to grab out of the drawer.

Damn hippies. It's not called a summer buzzcut, its called a regular haircut.

I normally sport a #1 on the side and a #2 on top in the winter and a 0 on the side and #1 on top for the summer. It is just to hot for any thing longer, unless you are a XX type of person.

Nope, I need all of the hair I can get. My hair is getting thin, and in the winter, I actually have to wear a cap to keep my head warm.

I don't know wtf is wrong with this, but it seems every time I post a video, it never works...  Used to work perfectly fine, now, not so much.

I got it for you.. Good ole Coe. to make omlet you gotta crack a few hippys as my dear ole departed grandmamma used to say. Sorry for squatting in your thread op, I cant help it if I am an idiot.

I'm still institutionalized after 21 years. It has taken me two years to finally get over not worrying about wearing my baseball cap indoors, but with the hair thing...it drives me nuts to feel hair on my ears and neck and truth be told, I like it cut that short.
5/28/2013 3:11:41 AM EDT
[#25]
Nothing left on top to grow long anyways. My doc keeps screaming at me to let it grow longer, but short hair is more or less a job requirement in my field anymore. Besides, if I let it grow out I start looking like a balding Doc Brown from Back to the Future.....

I keep one year round.
5/28/2013 3:16:44 AM EDT

I generally quit shaving/getting hair cut around August/September for winter and then shave everything off when it gets nice out.

This year was a little early so I kept the beard and buzzed the rest.

Nope. Hell, I'm still debating whether to get rid of the beard and moustache that were supposed to be gone right after St. Patrick's Day.

Nope. I stopped cutting my hair after the ponytail hate thread. I've never had hair over my collar in my life, so we'll see how it goes.

[#30]
I used to get a #1 all over. I haven't had a haircut in 9 or 10 months now. If it gets too hot I'll cut it.

[#31]
i have the same haircut all year.

number 2, each month I get it cut (generally that's how long before the SO wants to cut it).....

#1 on top skin on sides spring summer fall

#2 on top skin on sides winter

Once it starts touching your ears all the time you'll have the desire to cut it every day. Push past that.

I get my summer buzz cut all year long.
male pattern baldness is a bitch, so I beat her to the punch.

Not that I have to cut the top very often any more...

I did the opposite. I grew hair for summer.

Meh...I look better with it than without it.

For years that was what I did but this year I'm just growing my hair out.

Its now slicked back in a 1920's Undercut and if I comb it to the side its "The Hitler Youth" or "Guy from Arcade Fire" look.

Similar here.  #2 about every 6 to 8 weeks.

Like one of the other posters above said, I keep it a little longer so that the top of my head doesn't burn.
