Has anyone heard of or played this game?

In one of the most assinine examples of reporting I've seen yet...
I caught part of a news story the other day and the reporter seemed to be suggesting that either
a person could learn marksmanship/sniping skills or be inspired by it.



                   

First one was better then the second one.

Although Silent Scope 2 does have a really neat multiplayer mode, the only problem is the ballistics suck in multiplayer. You're holding what looks like a PSG-1, yet the bullet drops like you're firing a paintball.

Fun game.

I doubt you could learn from it. You get no time to line up a shot. You do room to room clearing with a sniper rifle. Please.
You don't fight recoil, you don't reload, and there is no (I think they call it) eye relief problems or the paralax thing where you can't see anything if you are farther away from the scope, or to much to the left or right.
No weight to deal with as it is mounted, and you don't have to worry about breathing, wind, or range.
Inspired by it? Questionable, as you are just shooting terrorist bad guys.
