...from the [b]OktoberBlast![/b] Thanks to all the folks who attended the First Annual OktoberBlast. I am very pleased to report that there were no gun-related deaths, injuries, or mishaps. No speeding tickets, no arrests, no searches and seizures. No fights, no fisticuffs, no pizzing matches, no heated arguments. No naked line-dancing around the campfire. [:D] BTW, did I mention [b]lordtrader[/b] [u]actually[/u] showed up at the Hun Farm? [b][i]'Much grass'[/b][/i] to one and all for coming! And I would be sadly remiss if I didn't point out the incredible work and sharing spirit that was shown by our very own [b]Sparksy[/b], who cooked and cooked and cooked for everyone's benefit and enjoyment, and cleaned up after everyone! I seriously doubt I saw the man idle for a minute! And thanks to the Final Clean up crew! [b]Tate and Zachary[/b] (as [u]usual[/u]) and [b]FALARAK[/b]! We must have hauled off ten garbage bags of trash when we finally left around 5:00 PM on Sunday! So, I will be busily preparing for the [b]Spring Hun Farm SchuetzenFest[/b], or whatever we shall call it! We are gonna get better and better at putting on these little events. I wished I tried the brisket, but I wanted to join our host, Mr. ETH, for dinner again at the Crowell Steakhouse. Next time I will bring some more meat to BBQ. Those cheesy brautworsts were pretty damn good too. Thanks to Frisco and Sparsky for supplying the Smoker & BBQ and maintaining the coals... |
