I have no problem with red. Classic. Always looks nice.
But I also like a woman that has a real fancy job done on hers. I'm talking fingers. I really don't give a damn about toes. |

Is this a metrosexual thread? No. But they do put some pretty fancy artwork on their nails. Some women, I guess, don't care enough to do so. I was just teasing. There are some really intricate things done now a days, but it is a matter of expendable money IMO more than caring to do it. I'd probably do all kinds of girly things with my nails but paying the money for someone to do it is just not realistic. I just paint mine a single shade myself and move on. |

Last time I had mine done was several years ago and it was 20-30$ for the full set and a repair/repolish was around 15-20 IIRC. Most need to be filled and re-polished by 2 weeks in so at the very best you are looking at a minimum of 30$ a month just for fingernails after the original 30 for the base. |

What does it cost? I do my own. Just paint my real nails, rather than having fake ones put on. I can do most of the simpler designs fairly easily and quickly. It's just a matter of watching what the pedicurists do to my feet and replicating that or something similar on my nails. Not hard at all, and a hell of a lot cheaper than going and having it done. That being said, the spousal unit never notices when I change my nail color, which is usually once or twice a week.

I'm pretty sure most men don't give a flying fart in a windstorm as long as the nails ain't six inches long. Except that a woman's nails are a clue as to her other grooming habits. You, sir, are a wise and observant man. Some men have figured this out. My anecdotal experience is that most men don't really notice or care. YMMV |

I do nails for a living. We charge 45-55$ for a set of acrylic nails. Then $3per nail for a design. It is true that when a woman takes care of her nails other parts are taken care of :) We charge that much because we use high quality product, went to school for many months, studied anatomy, physiology and had to be tested by NYS to receive a licenses. Also beware of "discount nail salons". That being said this post can go on bashing metrosexuals |

Back at that time 20 - 30 was on the slightly pricier side, with people who spoke English and had [visibly] clean shops.
And IMO care of nails, feet and other 'little' things are big clues on how well someone takes care of themselves overall. |
