First thing i learned in the airborne infantry is take the fucking light off the left side of your weapon unless you want to get shot directly in the face when its at the high ready. unless your a lefty that is.

yup, use iron sights with tritium in the day, mount a PVS 14 at night /combo with a PEQ2 . only optic i ever really liked was an Eotech

The margins are probably a lot better than Aimpoint and there are probably ten times the new AR15 user than there were 1 year ago.

You (like so many infantrymen) don't quite understand what a weapon light is for. They just don't teach it very well in the military.

ETA: But I do agree for a couple of reasons that a light should go on the right side if right handed.
