Anyone here use an electric yard collar on their dogs? I don't want to use a chain & a real fence would be too much $.

As it is, all the yard collars I see are like $250 and that's bad enough as it.

And what is a good method for getting them not to chew on certain things? He has toys & affection but still he's nicknamed Atilla by my mother with reason.

You have to wear the dog collar for a week first to see what it's like.

both my dogs when they were pups chewed and dug.  My sprinkler system can attest to this.  I ALMOST went the e-collar route, but after trying a few things, chili pepper, viniger, ect.. i found when i found a hole they just dug out, i put their poop in it.  after a few times, they quite digging.  Thankfully.  if not, yes, the E-collars are the next route and they r not cheap.  check craigslist and see if u can find a used 1.
