So I was a sucker and downloaded some bs program on accident. Did the uninstall and switched my homepage back to my original but when I open a new tab it still pull up some bullshit website. I cant find a place to change that option.

click on tools.  then click on options in the window that pops up.  In the options window click on general tab at top. then you can set current page to be home page.

Download Malwarebytes...it is a free malware program that does a great job. Let it scrub your system; it should take care of the problem:

What is the bullshit site.

If it the one I am thinking of uninstall firefox.
Restart and run that bitch in safe mode run malware bites, run virus scan.
Fresh clean install of firefox.

The home page isnt the problem. It is only when I open a new tab.

I was trying to download a pdf of my service manual and like a deer in the headlights went right for the big green button here.

I dont know that it is malware. I just clicked the wrong damn link and installed the pdf reader program
