Do either of you have any continuing ailments, what age?, have you looked into others?, have you looked into cancelling and paying the fine if no continuing ailments? 2K a month is rediculous who can pay that?
Thats about 21k per year you must own a business or something? |

Well, you have to have medical insurance so a major illness doesn't bankrupt you. Which an insurance payment of $1756 a month might do anyway. ![]() With NO pre existing conditions you can just pick up health insurance anytime you want now. Of course it wouldnt matter if you broke a leg with no insurance, but in case of cancer or something needing treatment you can go pick it up and they cant say no. |

I can not believe that people aren't raising holy hell that congress exempted them selves from it! |

You dont know, but I was throwing out CURRENT options that he may have if he could not afford it or ways around it. Thats all.
Being a small business owner and paying for your own insurance will be the hardest hit because they dont have the employers chipping in as a benefit. These fucking liberals like to think things out in stupid ways like "well we just didnt want a dynamite detonator brought in for show and tell because some kid could possibly bring in a wire and some explosives, hook it up, and then detonate the school", "we just didnt want to risk that" Why have a thought process like that and not apply that to something so big. |

Quoted: Fortunately my company pays 100% medical for me but the owner did mention a 40% increase which is fuckin absurd. I will agree OP... Somebody is paying for that increase. If not you, then your employers customers which most consumers won't accept. That in turn will jeopardize your employment as your employer looks to cut costs elsewhere to offset the increase on medical. It is fucking bullshit on a scale we have never seen before. How America stood by and let this happen is beyond me. We are looking at the largest tax increase in history and loss of our freedom to choose healthcare. |

I will Agee. If I were the owner I would say sorry. It's been cut off...

If some kid with no insurance breaks his leg or gets appendicitis, how do you expect him to pay those bills? Well, now he won't have to... YOU'RE paying them now. btw... I hear people I work with all the time praising Obamacare, all the while they complain their own insurance is going up 20%+ this year. Fucking idiots. |
