I have a squirrel in the shed.  I want him out.  What is the fastest way?

I also have a few ground hogs under the shed but I'll take care of that one.   They are constantly out from under the shed.   They are slower and will sit up and look at you.

The only problem I have with shooting them is that it is always in the shed.  I never see it outside.    What about poison?  Do they like sweet smelling liquids?

I prefer 17HMR, I keep my 17 handy, kill a few of them every now and than when I get too many on the bird feeder. Even shot a mouse with the 17, that was an interesting site. Trap with bait might work best though if you don't want to put some holes in your shed.

I came in to post the testicle lynching picture but, since I was beaten, deploying burners also seems reasonable.

Buy a Boa Constrictor Imperator full grown and put in the shed.  Squirrel will be gone in a day, groundhogs within a week.

This is actually a good idea. if you trap and release they can run the firing line.

can you put out a squirrel feeder and then shoot it legally?
5/8/2013 11:15:59 AM EDT
[#37]
Do not use rat poison unless you like the smell of rotted flesh as it will die in an area of the shed that you can not retrieve it from.

Get a cheap live trap from SportsmansGuide or get one from Tractor Supply Company, etc.  Bait it with peanut butter, etc.  You will catch it in no time and then relocate down the road or dispose of another way.

Rat trap will work but make sure you check it before the dead squirrel feeds the maggots
