No way! That chart couldn't possibly reflect what has happened under the Obama administration. Must be from some alternate universe or something.

Can't claim unemployment when the benefits run out.
The downward trend has nothing to do with the majority of those
folks finding work. Around here the 40-55 year old going on
3 + years unemployed/or severely underemployed is the new normal.

Overlay a chart that shows EBT and other forms of welfare over that chart for the same timeline.

People aren't going back to work, they are just enrolling in the FSA.

You can make the data say anything you want if you massage it enough. You need to look at all factors and adjust from there. The better indicator is the U6 number HERE. We are still too high for where the market is.

Jobless claims are down from 2008?

When a guy is shot multiple times in the chest he eventually stops bleeding.

This does not mean his condition has improved.
