If it had been a fill-in-the-blank or short-answer quiz, I would've missed the one about fracking. I thought fracking extracted crude oil.

Yeah, I was looking for oil too, but know natural gas is also a by product of oil wells, most just flare it off.

I got 12/13, and knew it as soon as I answered the question wrong, but only 12 questions had valid answers.  (sadly, I didn't get all 12 with right answers right , Co2 isn't the top for increase in heat, even if you're a nutter-green, water vapor is)

You answered 13 of 13 questions correctly.
This quiz is a joint effort between the Pew Research Center and Smithsonian magazine.

See below how your results compare with the 1,006 randomly sampled adults that took part in our national survey and review how you responded to each question. For more findings from the survey, read "Public's Knowledge of Science and Technology."
You scored better than 93% of the public and the same as 7%.

Not according to this

More women got the last 2 correct.

At any rate, the average overall percentage of correct answers was 8.6 for men and 7.7 for women.  Not a huge disparity but one thing it does prove is that people in general are pretty uneducated.
