I have had a First Alert CO/gas detector for 4 years, and it has had false alarms at least once a year. One of the CO false alarms ended with the fire department being called. I had another false "gas" alarm last night, so I pulled the battery out, checked the basement (the only gas source) and went back to sleep.. What is a better brand to replace this piece of shit? |
